About the event:

The Himalaya or ‘The Abode of the Gods' has always answered the call of those seeking peace and solace. It is really unfortunate that this mountain, the Karakoram Range to be more specific, has become a conflict zone. The armed forces of India and Pakistan have been fighting against each other in Siachen Glacier - the highest battlefield in the world - for the past many years. The exhibition advocates the creation of the Siachen Peace Park that can resolve this long-pending international conflict and preserve a unique high mountain environment currently being subjected to irreparable devastation.

The installations at the exhibition are powered by Greenlight Planet's Sun KingTM lights. Greenlight Planet is bringing clean, reliable, solar energy to two billion people who live off the grid and must rely on dim, polluting kerosene lanterns to light their homes.
