After Clearing Three Coal Blocks, Ramesh Says No To Fourth In C’garh Forest

In a letter released to the media, Ramesh wrote to the principal secretary to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, "In the last few days I have shown considerable flexibility and the least that the ministry of coal can do is to reciprocate in situations where I cannot work out a compromise."

In the past couple of weeks, Ramesh cleared nine coal blocks that he had shown the red flag to earlier. Three of these were in the Hasdeo-Arand coalfield and rest in Orissa. Read the full report here.
