Acting on the plan of action announced for the Ganga, the minister announced directed intervention of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on erring industry. The minister along with Member Parliament Ludhiana Manish Tewari and other officials travelled along the banks of Buddha Nallah right up to the point where it falls into the river Sutlej.
