With a few showers, myriad lilies adorn the forest floor, while small song birds create a tranquil atmosphere when the rain takes a break. Frogs become active in the small puddles and snails appear miraculously. BNHS CEC in Goregaon is all set to take the participants on an exciting trip into the wilderness.

The undulating forest trail under the shade of beautiful trees like Red Silk Cotton, Pongam Tree, Kusumb, Ghost Tree, Crocodile Bark Tree and Teak is an experience worth taking. Birds which are likely to be seen or heard include White-rumped Shama, Indian Grey Hornbill, Puff-throated Babbler, Magpie Robin, Golden Oriole and Brown-headed Barbet. Why spend a weekend driving far off on a Sunday morning when nature in all its bounty is waiting for you right here?
