It adds so much spice to one's life as nothing can match the joy of growing your own veggies in the balcony or backyard. If we grow our own greens, we will have both health and happiness. This workshop uses the approach of elevated garden style which does not involve digging the ground. Thus it is suitable for concrete floors. The workshop includes:

  • Hands-on session in establishing a kitchen garden including herbs, orientation towards organic farming, bed preparation and seed transplanting
  • Garden care will include pest management, compost making, self-irrigation approach and gardening resources and tips
  • Special emphasis on gardening on window sills and balconies, since space is the rarest commodity in Mumbai
  • Participants will receive a study guide that will include a calendar for vegetables and important information. Each one will get a participation certificate.

So join us to make Mumbai a sustainable city and get equipped with basic gardening skills.
