CAG Slams Jairam For Green India Plans Failure

The report, which was tabled in the Parliament, states that the Environment Ministry failed to implement its ambitious projects of afforestation, conservation of biodiversity, pollution control and spreading awareness among the people.

 

Blaming the Ministry for serious lapses the CAG report pointed out that the Botanical Survey of India has not met any of its target between 2000-2009. Read the full report here.
