Turkey tail
Turkey tail Trametes versicolor is named for its striking colours. Turkey tail has been used worldwide for centuries to treat cancer; the drug Polysaccharide-K (Kresin, PSK, PSP) is derived from this mushroom. It is used along with chemotherapy for its ability to downplay the adverse effects of the drugs.
