Churches to ask for a strong climate deal on December 13

The action is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. local time in each area and is bound to create an impact as the WCC brings together 348 Protestant, Orthodox and Anglican churches representing about 560 million Christians in 110 countries.

The number of chimes - 350 - is also symbolic as 350 ppm represents the safe limit of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. We are currently at 387 ppm.
