Discussion On Manufacturing Policy Likely On July 15

"Both the ministers will meet tomorrow to discuss issues like the proposed policy and environmental clearances for various projects," an official said.

Several large projects like Posco in Orissa and Lavasa in Pune, have been delayed due to controversies over alleged flouting of green norms.

Next week, Anand Sharma is likely to meet the finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and officials of the labour department to discuss issues related to labour and revenue that have been proposed in a manufacturing policy. Read the full report here.
