Fighting Climate Change in Norway

Norway's 4.7 million people hope to eliminate two-thirds of their emissions by using renewable energy, and storing some of the carbon dioxide they produce. Government officials say they'll offset the rest by fighting deforestation in the developing world. Norway's CO2 emissions rose by 80 per cent between 1990 and 2004, and it is the world's fifth-biggest exporter of oil.
