Gehlot on Friday had met senior Congress member Ahmed Patel. According to reports, the two discussed political appointments and a state cabinet reshuffle, which again caused speculations in political circles back home.
Gehlot, during his recent trips to Delhi, has been repeatedly meeting senior Union ministers, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal and finance minister Pranab Mukherjee; requesting the allotment for coal linkage and coal blocks for the state's ambitious power projects. On Saturday, Gehlot and Ramesh met at Jodhpur House, Delhi where the two discussed it once again.
"The matter would be discussed further when I visit Jaipur on June 23. We will find a consensual solution soon. We will have some news to share which will make Rajasthan happy,'' said Ramesh after the meeting with Gehlot. Read the full report here.
