Govt Pulls Up Posco For Forest Law Violation, Tells Co To Stop Work

The Committee, in its report, said there is evidence with regard to the violation of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) by the Jagatsinghpur district administration. “We have asked the Orissa government to stop all works related to the Posco project," said environment minister, Jairam Ramesh, in Delhi.
