Govt To Create Fund For Water Conservation In The Aravallis

The government is likely to make an announcement in this regard in its state budget which will be presented in the state assembly this week.

 

The state finace and environment minister Ajay Sigh Yadav said this project will cover five districts including Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mewat, Mahindergarh and Bhiwani. He said that the funds allocated for this purpose will be utilized for constructing dams and rejuvenation of lakes. Read the full report here.
