By way of explanation the authors write: “The question remains, have we lost another important species of the higher Himalaya without knowing it at all." Possibly to make it abundantly clear that he does not subscribe to any such possibility, Bahuguna adds: “I visited all areas of Darjeeling and interacted with local people. But I was never informed about such a species." A useful book for researchers and writers.
