Haryana Dogged, Centre Steps In To Clear Whistleblower

The illegal chargesheet against the young forest officer was quashed by the environment minister Jairam Ramesh because the Haryana government failed to justify its actions yet again.

TOI had reported the continuous victimization of the forest officer by the Haryana government after he caught senior bureaucrats and officers red-handed in a multi-crore scam and saved a wildlife sanctuary from destruction. Chaturvedi was transferred 12 times and false charges were pinned even as the state government, led by the chief minister's office kept delaying inquiry into those false charges.
