Olive Ridley hatchlings make their way down the beach closely watched by SSTCN volunteers.

Working together to carefully collect and protect the turtle eggs, SSTCN was able to relocate 285 nests to their Marina and Besant Nagar hatcheries. In the highest recording of hatchling releases in SSTCN's 25 years of work, around 11,000 hatchlings were released this season. During the releases, SSTCN volunteers engaged with participants, talking to them about the importance of protecting these endangered turtles and how they could be a part of the solution.
