Hearing Begins On Salman Khan's Appeal In Chinkara Poaching Case

As the State had also filed a Petition in High Court praying for enhancement of one year sentence given to the actor, the trial Court record was lying in the High Court for last five years, and therefore the appeal of the actor before the Court of Session could not proceed.  Recently, High Court had sent back the trial Court record back to the Sessions Court paving the way for hearing of the actors' appeal. Sanjeet Purohit Wildlife Trust of India's lawyer was present during the hearing to provide assistance to the prosecution in the case.
