IIM-A To Certify 'Green Products'

Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM-A has decided to test and certify eco-friendliness of products. A label has been developed to distinguish the products and IIM-A will formally release it on Wednesday.

Once a companies applies for the certification, CIIE will probe into the environmentally-sustainable practices in the manufacturing processes of the products and how eco-friendly the product is in its usage. The product that qualifies will be given certificate and authorization to use the label. Read the full report here.
