India Yet To Decide On Bt Brinjal

No decision was taken at the first meeting of Genetic Engineering Action Committee's (GEAC) took place on Wednesday.

India had clarified that permission to release such seeds could be granted only after both the public and professionals were satisfied from safety point of view.
