Jairam Sends Prithvi’s Coastal Road To The Bin

As a result, the proposed sea links which were in very real danger of being pushed off by Chavan's coastal road network, are now back on track.

 

The MoEF minister was in town on Friday to study several of the state projects that required a nod from the environment ministry.

 

The state government delegation led by the Chavan gave a presentation on the coastal road network and a slew of other projects.

 

The MoEF scrapped the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) proposal for two coastal roads - from Worli to Haji Ali and along Marine Drive as the present CRZ notification does not permit it. Read the full report here.
