Kolkatta vulnerable to climate change, says report

According to Mega-Stress For Mega-Cities, a new report by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), these four cities are most susceptible to storms and flooding caused by melting glaciers and rising sea levels, a situation exacerbated by the fact that they are also among the least prepared to deal with such a crisis.

 

The report which covers 11 large cities lying on the coast or in river deltas across Asia stresses the need for governments to take concrete action on global warming.
