Led by a team of expert naturalists, 110 nature enthusiasts from Mumbai explored the Sanjay Gandhi National Park with Sanctuary Asia on July 28, 2013. Founder of Save the Tiger and Sanctuary spotlightee, Raj Krishnani addressed the group on how individuals could work to protect wildlife and spoke to them about Sanctuary's Leave Me Alone campaign for Global Tiger Day. The campaign focusses on the need for inviolate spaces for wild tigers to live in and is an action-oriented initiative aimed at supporting on-ground tiger defenders. Walking through the city forest, the group saw myriad species of spiders, dragonflies and crabs as well as countless trees and herbs and left the park eager to begin their own personal initiatives to protect wildlife.
