The Satpuda Foundation organised a face painting competition and a rally around the Pench Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh to commemorate Global Tiger Day 2013.
Students from the primary and middle school in Amaziri participated in the event that began with an interactive session on the importance of conservation. Later, 184 students and their teachers walked through the village interacting with passers by about the need to protect the Pench Tiger Reserve.
Working with the Nature Conservation Society's (NCSA's) Mobile Health Unit (MHU) and supported by the Born Free Foundation, the Satpuda Foundation also organised a health camp for locals.
