‘Leave Me Alone’: Mahila Seva Samaj Students Celebrate Global Tiger Day In Bengaluru

Students of Mahila Seva Samaj in Bengaluru enthusiastically participated in the Leave Me Alone campaign on July 29, 2013. Over 200 higher primary students attended a film screening of The Truth About Tigers to learn about the importance of protecting India's national animal. After the screening, the rationale of the Leave Me Alone campaign and the link between tigers, forests, water, climate change and humans was explained to them.

The event ended with the students participating in an art competition on the topic ‘Our national animal - Tiger'. The students created some beautiful paintings of tigers, which were later put on display in their school.
