Andheria spoke to over 50 students of the Bhavan's College Nature Club. He started the talk with a presentation of the stunning photographs he has taken in various Tiger Reserves of India. He then spoke about his work at the WCT and the radical changes they are bringing about in the roles, responsibilities and personal lives of the caretakers of India's forests and wildlife. The audience was enthralled with his lucid commentary on the various species, which get umbrella protection in India's tiger reserves.
Andheria also spoke about the key rationale of the Leave Me Alone campaign - how protecting tigers and their homes ensure economic gains, sustained water availability and several other benefits. He also stressed upon the role of forests and how climate change is affecting landscapes all over the world.
The students left with a clear understanding of why they should take a stand for the tiger and how they can help in their own way.
