More Immigration Staff For COP17

The Home Affairs Department has been busy screening delegates. 

 

It has already prescreened nearly 12 000 of the more than 20 000 people on the United Nations database of accredited persons. 

 

An extra team of 96 immigration officials will be deployed for the climate conference  which kicks off later this month.
