Naveen To Push Vedanta With PM Today

Patnaik is expected to discuss with the PM not only Vedanta but Posco's integrated steel plant as well, work on which had been ordered shut by the MoEF recently. The high stakes involved and the political pressure building up seem to have slowed the fast-paced deliberations in MoEF with its statutory body, Forest Advisory Committee (FAC), taking more than usual time in summing up its recommendations to minister Jairam Ramesh.
