The NDTV-Aircel Tigrthon is an annual event celebrating the tiger and its immense value to the Indian subcontinent. For 12 hours, NDTV, a popular news channel in India, showcases the threats faced by the country's wildernesses and the organisations working to address them. With Sanctuary as the knowledge partner, the Tigerthon has helped educate countless people on India's wildlife crisis and the funds raised from the event are used by the Wildlife Conservation Trust to revolutionise protection mechanisms in tiger reserves across the country.
