No Hearing In Orissa, Says CM

He said this in a strongly worded reply to the Union environment minister, Mr Jairam Ramesh, who reminded in a letter that the AP government had promised to conduct public hearing on the project in Orissa, and warned that environmental clearances that were accorded by Centre would be withdrawn if it was not held. In his reply, Mr Rosaiah asked how it would be possible for AP to conduct public hearing in another state and that too after the Polavaram project had obtained all the clearances from the environment ministry.
