ORF Delegation To Meet Praful Patel On Mumbai's Second Airport

Besides calling on the Civil Aviation Minister Patel, the delegation also plans to meet Forest and Environment Minister, Jairam Ramesh and representatives of political parties on the airport issue, over which both Patel and Ramesh have locked horns.The delegation will also meet state government functionaries including Chief Minister, Ashok Chavan, he said.ORF has recently come out with a report on the proposed Navi Mumbai Airport, which states that the site because of its size would not be sufficient to meet the future air traffic requirements of the city, besides highlighting environmental issues.
