Panama To Host World Climate Change Meeting

This meeting will be held in Durban, South Africa between November and December 2011. The meetings in Panama will be held from October 1 to 7.

The week before these meetings major government negotiating groups will coordinate their positions in the last meeting prior to COP-17.

More than 4,000 people are expected to attend, including 195 government delegations of the State Parties to the Convention, as well as representatives of NGOs, international organizations and the news media. Read the full report here.
