Panna's BJYM Activists Protest As Ramesh Disapproves Local

The activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of BJP, protested Ramesh's remarks last evening that Lalitpur (UP)--Singrauli (MP) rail road and inter-state Ken-Betwa rivers linking project would not be cleared by his ministry as it would affect the Panna Tiger Reserve. They were also upset with his announcement that a buffer zone would come up for the tiger reserve. The locals are opposing the proposed buffer zone fearing that it will displace them. "We are opposed to the idea of buffer zone. It should not come up. Also we want that the Lalitpur - Singrauli rail line should come up that will connect Panna with other places," a protester said.
