POSCO Gets Final Clearance In Odisha

The final approval has been accorded to Odisha for diversion of 1,253 hectares of forest land to Posco for its project, which includes a captive minor port in Jagatsinghpur.

 

In a notification, Ramesh said, “I would expect that the revised MoU between the Odisha state and Posco would be negotiated in such a manner that exports of raw materials (iron ore) are completely avoided". Read the full report here.
