Ramesh said he discussed the problems in the implementation of the Worli-Haji Ali sea link project and the Jaitapur nuclear plant. Chavan said Ramesh would visit Mumbai on April 11 to discuss the matters in detailin the financial capital.
Ramesh added that the Nuclear Power Corporation and the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board were conducting a review of safety of nuclear plants across the country.
Asked if the Environment Ministry was planning to have relook at the green clearances to Jaitapur project in view of the incidents in Japan, Ramesh pointed out that the state-run Nuclear Power Corporation and the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board were already conducting a review of safety of nuclear plants across the country.
