Sanctuary Celebrates Earth Day At Maria Public School, Guwahati

 A day of activities was organised for students including film screenings of The Truth About Tigers by Shekar Dattatri and a film on lion-tailed macaques by Sabyasachi Patra. Dr. Robert Gatten, a marine biologist from the U.K. spoke to the children about the importance of the world's oceans and how they could help protect marine life. The kids also took a pledge not to use plastic and to be more sustainable in their daily lives and left school feeling excited about the many things they would do for the environment that year!
