The Kids for Tigers Educators' Meet was held at the Mangrove Interpretation Centre of the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve at Sajnekhali. Teachers from every participating school were present, and were addressed by the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve Field Director Mr. Soumitra Dasgupta, Deputy Field Director Mankar, and Assistant Field Director N. Panda.

A large number of field staff for the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve also participated in the Meet.  Before the programme began, the teachers were given a guided tour of the Mangrove Interpretation Centre by the Tiger Reserve's beat officer. Sanctuary KFT organizers Joydip and Suchandra Kundu, of the Society for Heritage and Ecological Researches (SHER), made an audiovisual presentation about the Kids for Tigers programme, which was followed by a screening of the National Award-winning animated feature film, Delhi Safari. Teachers discussed next steps in advancing their conservation curricula over lunch, and received jute bags containing Sanctuary Asia and Cub magazines.
