The Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Contest 2012

This image was submitted by Falguna Shah for the Sanctuary Wildlife Awards 2009. The camera was a Canon 40D with a Canon100-400IS lens. The action took place in the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. The spotted deer had a lucky escape the photographer informed us.

Our panel of judges for 2012 are: Bittu Sahgal - Editor, Sanctuary Asia, Shekar Dattatri - filmmaker, and Sumit Sen - Kolkata Birds. The results will be announced at the Sanctuary Wildlife Awards on November 30, 2012!
