Thousands Gather For COP17 Protest

Civil society groups have dubbed Saturday as the ‘global day of action' at the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17).

Protesters are carrying giant balloons and placards.

Members of the TckTckTck Campaign are dressed in fluorescent orange vests as a group of COP17 volunteers get ready to take to the streets. 

Organisers expect thousands more to join the climate change protest as they try to get COP17 negotiators to listen to ordinary people. Read the full report here.
