Violation Of Forest Laws By JSPL Alleged

Wildlife Society of Orissa, a voluntary organisation, submitted a bunch of letters to Ministry of Environment and Forest in support of the allegation that Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL), which was setting up an integrated steel plant of 6 million tons per annum capacity and a captive power plant of 1,000 MW at Badkerjang, Angul, started work without having forest clearance.
