Pratibha Pai, a faculty member, introduced Swan to the students and Reshma Piramal spoke about Swan's participation in the upcoming Standard Chartered Marathon where he will be running under the banner of Kids for Tigers. Swan took the stage and spoke about his adventures walking to the North and South Pole and the various life skills he had learnt through his journeys. He reiterated his belief that younger generations need to take charge of their future saying, “The biggest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it" and the importance of being committed to a cause. His motto of demonstrating leadership through action and not words struck a chord with the audience. The students extremely inspired by his talk and participated actively in the question and answer session that followed the talk.
