Though some sections of the site are still under construction, it does provide a basic outline of the rich marine heritage of the state. The site concisely states the objectives of the OMRCC, which revolve around marine resources and wildlife conservation in India, protection of the rights of the fisherfolk in Orissa and research initiatives. It provides an overview of the multiple factors threatening Orissa's marine life, and the various projects being undertaken by the OMRCC to tackle them.

In addition, it lists the member organisations and individuals of the OMRCC. Hopefully, more pictures will be added to the photo gallery to provide a better visual representation of their work. The site provides a link to the ‘Review of the Swaminathan Committee Report on the CRZ Notification' and hopes to provide a greater compilation of documents to further understanding on the topic.
